In May 2002, SPE became the ONLY Credit Union in Centre County to have approval on a Community Charter. This means:
ANYONE who lives, works, worships or goes to school in CENTRE COUNTY is eligible to join SPE Federal Credit Union!
Also eligible are:
- Volunteers in Centre County
- Recipients of a pension or annuity from a Centre County employer
- Immediate family or household members of any eligible person
- Organizations of any of the above persons
